Book Club Discussion Group 2026-2027 - Daytime 50+ membersFree ActivitiesDo you love to read? Want a place to discuss and share reactions with like-minded people? Join us for this monthly book discussion group that meets second Tuesday of the month. Group members will choose the authors and titles for the year from a list of popular books. Most will be available at the public library. Call or stop by the Adult Programs welcome desk at the District Program Center for the current book list. 651-425-6650. DASH Sports T-ball Tykes CampAthletics (Camps & Clinics)Looking for a fun introduction to baseball? DASH Sports T-Ball Tykes camp introduces players to key elements of throwing, fielding/catching, batting, and baserunning. The final day of classes is ‘Game Day’ and athletes will showcase their skills in a game environment. Athletes should bring a water bottle and a baseball glove. Baseballs and bats are provided. Parent participation is required for the 2-3yr old age group and recommended when needed for the 4+ year old age group.Summer 2026 -
Lady of the Lake - Minnetonka Boat Cruise with Lunch (day trip for adults)Trips and ToursEnjoy a two hour private cruise of lake Minnetonka aboard the three-deck Historic Sternwheeler: Lady of the Lake. Sightsee the glamorous private estates and the enchantment of the shorelines of Lake Minnetonka while enjoying lunch. Boaters box lunch includes one soda(Signature Gourmet Chicken Salad on a Croissant with Lettuce. Includes Fresh Fruit, Pasta Salad, Dessert. Vegetarian Sandwich Available upon request (must indicate vegetarian when registering) Cash bar available on board for other drinks. Restroom will be available on board. Stairs to upper decks are optional. Included in our trip will be the boat ticket, box lunch with soda, tax & tip, and coach bus transportation. There are no refunds after the registration deadline has passed (August 26th) unless a substitute can be found or you can gift to someone. Times are approximate and subject to change. We've got a small group that meets on the 1st and 3rd Monday mornings(during the summer and will switch to Thursday mornings starting in September) and we could use your help. Bring your creativity (no experience needed) and enjoy socializing while you work together. All proceeds go towards supporting our birthday programs (sending members a birthday card and our monthly birthday bash).Summer 2026
