Boys and Girls Middle School Flag Football Program: This will be for boys and girls in grades 6-8 who will practice Monday through Thursday each week from September 10th through October 22nd from 2:45-4:15pm. We will try to form two teams per school for each of our middle schools. A shirt/jersey will be provided and teams will play a district wide schedule against other District #833 middle school teams. Students will need a ride to and from any away games that they play. Transportation will not be provided. All participants MUST have a sports physical on file at the Community Education office. Physicals are good for three years. All three forms that the doctor needs to complete can be found on our website at commed.sowashco.org under "Middle School Athletics". The Community Education Middle School Girls Volleyball Program for 7th and 8th grade students will emphasize skill development and team play. Students are instructed in the fundamentals of the sport and will participate in matches against schools within District #833. Volleyball will run from September 9th through October 21st, 2026. ***7th and 8th grade girls can/will be mixed together and placed on a team of similar skill level/ability.*** Participants will practice M/T/W/Th with no Fridays, from 2:45-4:45pm. Coaches will distribute a schedule at the first team meeting/practice, Wednesday, September 9th. Games will start at 3:30pm and end around 5:15pm. Transportation will not be provided.
