After School Pottery for Kids & AdultsCreateHave you ever been on a pottery wheel? During this class, participants (students and parents) will make a bowl on an electric pottery wheel (with help from the instructor) and use handbuilding techniques to make and decorate a clay cylinder. Participants will use a variety of colors to glaze pieces at the end of class. Participants are encouraged to bring an apron or towel. Please register each person individually, must be at least 8 years old.Fall 2026

Adult Pottery - Hand Building & Wheel Instruction with Stoneware ClayCreateIn this three session class, participants will be introduced to basic techniques of hand building, throwing on a potter’s wheel, and glazing. Using stoneware clay and earth tone glazes, participants will create pieces of art using an electric wheel, slab roller and extruder. The first two sessions are devoted to creating and the last session will focus on glazing. Both new and returning students are welcome. Participants are encouraged to bring an apron or towel.
