Elementary Chess ClubSTEMWhether you consider yourself a beginner or intermediate player, join this club to meet and interact with other chess players in your school and play on a weekly basis. If they are new to the game, players will learn the basic rules and strategies of chess. Tournament play is encouraged outside of the club, but not required. Playing games develops analysis, problem solving, communication, and negotiation skills and…it’s also great fun! Players will learn at least 3 new games and how they end in order to complete full games Players can make decisions on game play and explain the rules with or without adults present Players are able to resolve a disagreement with & without adults present Players can set-up and take down games in order to have them ready for future players.Fall 2026 -

Learn how the stock market works by analyzing real time data and trades using a stock market simulator. Create four investment portfolios to compare risk vs return on investment. Understand how an IPO could become the next blue chip company of tomorrow. Track and trade your stocks, mutual funds, and cryptocurrencies to build wealth, not just savings. Use a personal finance simulator to see how improving your education & experience can raise your income, if you can budget your resources and pay your bills! Learn how difficult it is to finance post secondary education while still holding down your simulated job. Finally, if students have interest, they can attempt to build and grow a simulated business. This club is meant to be a full year program, but can be stand alone each session students participate. Participants will have the option to help manage a concessions stand if they are interested in a public facing experience.Fall 2026 -
Elementary Lego Robotics Fall 1STEMLearn basic robotics skills such as; programming, construction, testing, and design while you create robots that solve specific challenge problems generated during the program. Elementary Scratch CodingSTEMThis program offers a crash course in coding your own games in Scratch. Students will create and develop 3-4 basic games while learning many foundational programming skills with boundless potential for creativity and expansion. Tailored for the beginner with little to no experience coding on Scratch, we will begin with the basics and have students creating their own detailed, personalized games by the end of the program. Students will come home with a mobile account containing their games to share and play with the whole family!Fall 2026
