Excel 2007: Working with Databases and Lists

Do you spend a lot of time searching for data in large spreadsheets? Would you like to perform database functions such as filtering, subtotaling, and sorting directly in your Excel spreadsheet? Want to enter your data into a form rather than directly into rows and columns? Learn database design and data entry techniques as well as procedures to sort, filter, subtotal, and validate data. Discover how to: Understand the "rules" of designing a database, Create a form for data input, *Easily find records in the database, Sort data alphabetically or numerically, Filter data to display a subset of the data, Subtotal data in a list. Prerequisite: Basic Excel capabilities including formatting. (Suggested course: Excel 2007 Getting Started.) Resource guide included in fee.

IMPORTANT PARKING INFORMATION for East Ridge High School Community Education classes:
All participants are being asked to enter through one of two entrances: 1) The main entrance. This has 2 flagpoles in front and is clearly marked with the words East Ridge H.S. and the address to the left of the doors. OR 2) The south entrance which has the words "South Entry" clearly marked. To park here you need to follow the loop that goes right in front of the school (for drop offs) and then take a right into the South Parking Lot. We ask that you do not enter through the Activity Center doors as the inside doors to the academic wing will be locked for security reasons.
