Who are Muslims and what are their core beliefs? Understand Islam's 6 Articles of Belief and 5 Pillars of Faith which include Shahadah (declaration of faith), Salat (daily prayers), Zakat (Obligatory Poor due), Sawm (fasting) and Hajj (pilgrimage). How does this belief system guide the day-to-day lifestyle of a Muslim? What are the similarities and differences of this lifestyle as compared to American Culture? We will also discuss how lack of knowledge about this belief system is sometimes misrepresented by Western Media as well as extremists in Muslim World and Western World.
